- November 9, 2015: Veterans Voices – Personal Stories of Combat and Peace Open House: A campaign to introduce an innovative writing and publication project for veterans and service members. All interested veterans and service members are invited to stop in and learn more about this exciting new venture, cosponsored by the English and Journalism Department and the Veterans Resource Center. Veteran students, staff, faculty, and alumni are encouraged to share their stories through poetry, creative nonfiction, and fiction. We welcome all stories, and are not simply seeking writing on the combat experience. We seek to provide a space on the page that encompasses the complex, rich experience of service. (333 Ward Street, 3–4pm)
